COMMUNITY GARDENING ACTIVITIES IN KINGSCLERE, NORTH HAMPSHIRE
Growing2gether functions primarily as a horticultural therapy and environmental education centre for adults and young people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues. It also functions as a food growing hub for all members of the local community but in particular children.
The Growing 2gether Project is based on a 1.5 ha site at Cottismore Park near Kingsclere, North Hampshire. The site contains greenhouses, allotments, an orchard and a Wildlife Education Area. The project is supported by the Greenham Trust, which owns the site.

GROW YOUR OWN IN A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT
We provide volunteering, learning and training opportunities on our site in Cottismore, near Kingsclere in North Hampshire. Get involved in the many gardening activities available at our training area and educational facility, meet some great people and grow some fantastic fruit, salad, vegetables and many other fabulously tasty treats.
Join the green revolution – learn how to grow your own with support from our on-site team at the Growing 2Gether community garden and greenhouses.
AN OUTDOOR LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN
We offer a wide variety of training opportunities for our volunteers and those who wish to can gain qualifications accredited by LASER Learning Awards. Training can be tailored to suit specific needs.
We also work with schools – our education team work alongside teachers to create fun and informative outdoor learning sessions based around current topics on the curriculum.
We can link with a range of subject areas including history, science, geography and also run sessions on healthy eating and food production.
We can also arrange birthday parties and have an outdoor parent and toddler group running on a monthly basis – get in touch to find out more.
