Skills Training Workshops in Newbury

We are a registered UK Learning Provider with eight members of staff who are fully qualified in training and assessment. We offer training in a range of skills linked to our core operations, including woodwork, electrical repair, bicycle repair, ‘upcycling’ furniture, administration and IT.

If you or someone you know would like to gain accredited qualifications, you can take part in skills training at the T&CS Centre in Newbury. We are an accredited training centre and deliver LASER Learning Awards focusing on their Learning, Employment and Progression (LEAP) courses. There’s an extensive range of LEAP courses available, tailored for all ability levels – from practical topics like woodwork and painting, to the more administrative like ‘health and safety’ or ‘preparing for work’.

LOGISTICS

In addition to the skills training workshops, we also offer specialist training for those looking to work in warehousing and logistics, offering AITT (Association of Industrial Truck Trainers) accredited courses in forklift truck operating. 
We offer a 5-day basic operator’s course, 3-day conversion course and a 2-day refresher course available in both reach and counterbalance style forklift trucks, with our fully qualified trainer.
